Finally got out on the lake last week after a long time off due to boat being in the shop.
The fish were very happy to cooperate with me and wound up with a lot of big ones. They're still in early pre-spawn mode in my area (North Louisiana) but suspended fish are biting pretty readily.

Foot-Steering Attachment For Transducer Poles!
Here many times they fail to chase or just won't bite . We use longer poles and hold right on their nose for up to a minute then wham. Unless they move they have not seen anything . Sometimes your on the tail instead of the head . A few times we have put it on a big fish about a dozen times in muddy water to get a reaction .
