Default the pups are busy .....

We hunt most of the 2 months or so deer are in season in these parts , we take mini breaks a few times here and there to ketch fish , but they are not the main attraction .
Been off hunting with the pups a bunch , tried a mini crappie ketchn thing one day after pouring down rain that morning , went poorly , got just a few bites and ketched yet a few more pups
the bites were almost impossible to detect and they were parked on the bottom ....but...
one thing for certain , pups gone hunting are so so entertaining , it really warms my heart and soul to see them experience the great outdoors , and the other things they see and hear along the way too .
like a puppy meeting its first ever kitty kat , and or a puppy meeting its first ever skunk when its going potty at 10 pm in the dark and the have to go pee pee really bad right when the best part of the day is at hand in the deer blind and the list goes on , maybe ,how about when you wave the big yellow banana in the window and the monster buck in the brush sees it and comes out at about 150 mph going away as fast as he can across the open pasture ......or maybe that first ever fresh deer track as a puppy ....all really good stuff for sure
so to all who might wonder why I am not hanging around in here, I am absent with good cause and even if it gets recorded as an occurrence on my attendance ..... it don't really make me worry ......
KABOOM is near , we just sling a different kind of lead this time of year .....just an fyi
hope you all have a happy new year and hope you had a great christmas as well .....
p.s. we only scared the deer this go , no deer were harmed on our recent adventures

Very nice, Ketchn. Thanks for the ride along. At some point that buck will get the memo to skedaddle!

We will likely give up on him , sort of busy with a million projects, most likely going to do a late doe hunt instead with the grandson on my friends ranch ….
The pup is ridiculously fun to have as part of the crew here for sure
