I’m looking for a good livescope rod. Very seriously thinking of either the 13.5 or 15ft HH warpig. However, I’m looking at every rod out there. I’ve noticed on every rod that the reel seat is upside down, meaning it tightens from the bottom. I plan on using a bait caster and don’t particularly like holding onto plastic threads as I let line out. Wouldn’t it make better sense to flip it the other way? Or is there a reason it’s like this?
