    Default Wandering to and fro

dock to dock , bank to bank , the results tend to be similar .....
might take a boat ride this week, have not floated in a long time ....
back in the spring , some where about 3 to 4,000 crappie ago, was my last boat ride ....
    darn the bad luck right
the good news is this , safety in numbers is not a true thing if your a crappie ....
and me is near you and the crowd, with a rod in hand ....
    KABOOM is the word
the fish are going winter mode now , lots less movement on the jig or no bites
some are already parking on the bottom and thumping like they mean it ....
not sure if I like winter mode better than the other modes though ...
that lack of action thing and standing there like you aint got a clue is kinda boring
pearl with silver fakes and a yellow tail last week ....
    good stuff

Looks like they wanted a bigger bait than normal but shad are bigger this time of year. Some good one's there. I always wear long sleeve shirts when outside, more protection from the sun. Wish I would wear gloves more to protect hands from the sun but they get in the way. Had one skin cancer removed several years back, nothing since.

I fished last thursday , had to dig a light jacket out of the storage. Kept 16 nice ones , I did not count , but suspect I had more
throw backs than keepers . This is unusual for my home lake. Fishing brushpiles in 14-17 ft. Did better on minnow than jigs,

Water temp was 71 , so lots of good fall fishing to come.

    good luck to all
