A fella that is good at tying up jigs sent me a few of them new types of hand ties .
they got that there plastic ribbon/wedge tail thing going on
I haven't had really great success with them to any degree , until the other day
they are beautiful jigs , but a bit large and he used big hooks in them and they are heavy too
got beat up BAD that day on a lil pit stop was me , second fish broke off my pearl white plastic
4th fish broke of my pearl white with a yellow tail same plastic ....
only had 3 jigs and 3 floats in my pocket ...
down to one of them there hand ties was me and tied it on for the last chance go ....
I run Mr. crappie 8 lb. test on that rod and it is tough stuff , but these fish were REALLY fighting hard and running large and it ain't like your are using LS with 10 to 12 foot of line out there , they are WAY out there off the bank .....
they ate it well .....it was pretty darn amazing how hard they hit it ....AND ....
the ball cap says KABOOM btw yawl
