Default I struggled to ketch them

and my buddy was ketchn them as I watched , heck I couldn't even get a peck ...
I changed jigs towards the downward side and finally got a light take ....
and it promptly broke me off on the hook set ....
    me was kinda mad/sad ....but....
    me kept trying nonetheless ,,,,
quitters won't ever succeed ya know ....
pretty soon I began to ketch them here and there ....
the next hour after that first one became a clinic on how dare ya try to out ketch me bro
as is often the case that spot faded on the bite ....
we moved to another spot and me was totally saddled up and spanked them like your supposed ta,
there did not seem to be a definitive presentation they liked .....
some was deep , some was not , some liked it moving , some not so much .....
spot one was 12 foot deep , spot 2 was 7 foot deep
tiny jungle jim jig stop 1 produced ok ,,,,,larger Arkie jig stop 2 spanked them
a float was the ticket stop 2 and a free jig was what they liked at spot 1 ....
got to see a really nice crappie try to take a jig on the surface as well right at my feet....
my best bait that visit was an Arkie solid body tube in red and chart .....
if you are sure they are there and others are ketchn them near ya , you should stay with em is advice ....
they will typically change whatever mood they are in at some point and like your jig as well ...

Love that never say nope, not believing this...I'm gonna ketch ya attitude...I will stick with tryin' to ketch them many times well after they quit bittin'. When I get home, Ms. Joyce will always say, "well, why didn't ya quit and come home"...My reply is " they might a turned back on and I would of gotten more. Can't ketch'em if ya not at the lake..."

It’s crossbow and archery season and that spot has lots of youngsters hunting around it , best keep in mind such stuff , folks tend to sling stuff all over the place this time of year …

Funny how you can fish a spot then leave it only to stop on your way back and Kaboom. That's what happened to me yesterday. You are right about being over confident because just when you think you got them figured out - that's when they serve us a big slice of Humble Pie.
