Hi All. turning 70 this year and decided to back off the throttle a bit to 3 days a week and have some extra time to spend on the water. Been in the construction business all my life so my fishing was from October thru 2nd week of May. Fish mostly Lake of the Ozarks, Mark Twain and Truman. Have always had great success pulling jigs on these lakes but never tried it during the summer months. looks like most folks are pulling or pushing cranks during this time. The thermocline usually sets up between 18 and 24 feet at the various lakes which will locate the fish somewhere between the surface and the thermocline. Has anyone ever pulled jigs during this period or is it just not productive. Curious what everyone has to say on this. Appreciate everyone on the site, enjoy and learn much from you all!
