St John river Skunked

Bymo wanted to try the Astor ramp on St John river famous for crappie masters fishing tournament. We launched and immediately it looked so great with lil pads everywhere on edges and we started dipping our long rods with jigs and minnows. Nada on first spot so we moved up river towards Lake George. Passed a lot of boats slowly so we could see if anyone was ketchn. Nada.

Hit George and had nice view of both bald eagles and Osprey plus a huge gator and some small ones.

Tried some creeks and river lily had areas but didn't have any action at all. Oh well it was beautiful day, new TM worked well thanks to Slabs lithium battery which was strong. Was with my good bud, great warm weather and went to local restaurant had great lunch. Plus got off water before it rained.

Have lot of time left on our FL adventure.
