Day three behind us. Nurses said it would be the worst day and the pain should plateau. I know she had a not so good day. Started in about 12:45 AM. Today, day 4 is first day of actual physical therapy. Thankfully it's about 1 mile away from the house. I imagine the afternoon, and on will not be any better. Seems her pain threshold is not as high as she thought. Going to be fun...Not. But, she's mine forever and we will get through this. Then, when she's released to drive, I get to go through it...Oh boy...
Good thing you two can support each other compassionately and understandingly since both will experience it. Continued prayers

Thank you everyone for the continued Prayers. They are greatly appreciated. Day 5, 1 day post 1st Physical therapy. She thought they were trying to kill her it hurt so bad. But after a bit, and her meds, she was moving some better. Got more exercises to do, but she's doing more. Very important to do the leg strengthening exercises BEFORE surgery, (Thank you everyone who told me), and now she's learning this, (not listening to me, as I the man don't know)...It will be rough for a bit, strengthening the leg, but she's determined for me NOT to be right...LOL. Gotta love it.
Yep, take the meds prior to therapy is the key. Also doing gall the home exercises even though it’s painful. Remember your next Eric…continued prayers for yall
