I got the Bird Feeder Raider red handed sitting on the evidence. Hopefully a bird feeder will be able to sit out overnight again. Several possums were hanging around guess they will be next.

Nice photo! Now I know you good ole country boy. But I got to ask, what do yall do with table scraps?
Even more importantly what do your nearest neighbors do with theirs?
This usually attracts the critters you seem to have the most of. I know you know that.

If you’ve followed his awesome recipe/food/meal posts I doubt there are many table scraps…:Rofl
My coons were to smart to go into cage so I bought a Duke coon trap from Bass Pro and it works like a champ. I packed the bottom of it with some sardines and they can't resist. Set the trap at least 4ft from any items because they attack and chew anything they can get to while trapped. I had one that nearly chewed a broom handle in two.
So here is how I handle "Scraps" as well as fish heads. I have a old upright freezer that I freeze block ice in for fishing. Also in the freezer is a rectangular bucket about 5 gallons that all the fish cleaning scraps goes into. Each week as the garbage runs I empty the bucket into my shop garbage can the morning the garbage truck runs so it is still frozen when picked up. If we have any food scraps they go into the fish head bucket too. I do not throw anything "edible" out in the trash. As Buckeye said, little goes to waste around here - everything gets ate. Shocking thing is how low our food budget is when we eat all that we buy.
It’s those darn pizza eating neighbors! You got a good point.Quote:

The ole switcherooo, this extra dark possum was in the yard a few nights ago.

That is a dark one.
This Coon has knocked the bird feeder down for 2 nights. While standing on the trap it was tall enough to reach the feeder.

No bird seed was in the feeder to distract this Bandit last night. Ha caught! Another critter gone.
