Friends,

I would like to humbly request prayer for an upcoming heart cath procedure I’m having September 8th. The procedure will likely result in a pulmonary valve replacement.

I had open heart last year, Ross Procedure and sadly, the pulmonary valve they put in looks like it needs to be replaced. Obviously, I am very disappointed needing a valve replacement so soon after open heart.

Will you please pray for me that the heart cath procedure is successful? Please pray that the procedure can be accomplished in the cath lab without another open heart!

I am very nervous because I had some complications with my last surgery and desired outcome was not achieved. Nevertheless, I am doing my best to trust God that He will get me through it.

Lord willing, this procedure will only set me back about 6 weeks and will provide some longevity with the new valve. The valves are supposed to last 10 or more years. If everything goes to plan, should be coming home the following day and recovery won’t be anywhere near as rough as open heart.
