Semi- retired fishing

I may still have a few months before full retirement but for the first time in many years I left work early and went fishing on a Friday afternoon.
A nice partly cloudy day a little windy
Surface temp about 74 degrees.
I hit all my favorite places with nothing. As the day was almost over i went to wolftever brige. Sonar battery died so it was old time hunt and hope lol. Just when I thought the skunk was on a 11 in crappie decided to visit me. I ended up with 2 11 inch and 1 10 inch.
