Semi- retired fishing

I may still have a few months before full retirement but for the first time in many years I left work early and went fishing on a Friday afternoon.
A nice partly cloudy day a little windy
Surface temp about 74 degrees.
I hit all my favorite places with nothing. As the day was almost over i went to wolftever brige. Sonar battery died so it was old time hunt and hope lol. Just when I thought the skunk was on a 11 in crappie decided to visit me. I ended up with 2 11 inch and 1 10 inch.

Some of my favorite times to be on the lake since retiring are Sunday evenings, after all the weekend campers leave. And, mornings during the first part of the week. Most folks who live in the cove here just do their house/yard work on the weekends and let the tournaments and weekenders enjoy the lake.
