    Default Special Anniversary

Today marks a special anniversary of a different kind for me. This is not posted for bragging reasons, well maybe a little, but a lot of information is gleaned from this picture. One thing is that it shows the health of the fish in a big way. This was four years ago today and in similar lake conditions, so the fish I am catching this year were born that year. It shows value in good culling skills and that comes from my brother and his bass fishing. I am thinking we caught around 40 fish that day. I think it is interesting that we won without catching the biggest fish, and that was the argument for a 10 fish limit. I would rather have a seven fish limit, but the ten fish limit does make the math easy. Two pound average is documented and amazing. Many other things were learned that great day too and continue to be learned from the experience. Have a great day and go fishing Special Anniversary. Name: Screenshot_20230328_085525_Facebook.jpg

She isn't, but that is the most special anniversary.

My brother and I went out today and caught 18 between us, and we were close to being able to put up that weight again! We caught some fish way over 2lb and they were not over 15" ,but thick and heavy and not just at the egg area. They were not easy again, but we got a great day again, even better than when they come easy. I caught a giant carp, could have been 20lb on 4lb test and hooked right in the corner of the mouth. No pictures were taken this morning.
