He came over to Camps twice and stayed with me on Martin. Very extraordinary guy, full of compassion with a love of our sport and our members. He is and will be missed dearly!!!!

G was a good friend and I truly am appreciative that God placed him in my life. G gifted me a cast iron Dutch oven that had been in his family forever. I think of him every time I cook in it. It is my hope and prayer that this site always conduct itself in such a manner G would enjoy. I know where you await my friend. I will see you when the Lord brings me home.

A good friend indeed. I still miss the old curmudgeon. I call him that affectionately . He was my mentor and I enjoyed my time with him.

That picture of six is just great! Every one of them joined at the hip for helping this site run smooth, and the rest of us all benefit from it. If anything was posted, you could be assured that G was going to be one of the first responses. I think of him often, miss him more often than that. People of such caliber are put into our lives to show us how it’s done, and I’m glad to have spoken with him the few times we did.
