2 foot long range , 7 to 8 is my guess , thunk it was rough fish the first 3 or 4 runs off the spool , pretty exciting to hear the reel scream and sure enough made the other fella there get all perked up too ....:Rofl

if time permits you can adjust it some and get images that are just like WOW !
mostly never have the time and have it set on what takes images fastest .
