Looks like a largemouth with a screwed up mouth. A derp bass as it's called in Jay Kumars bass blaster.
I don't know how it works in Tn. but in Ky. nowadays they don't go by the tongue patch. Don't know if it's because of hybridizing or what but the jaw line rules nowadays because lots of largemouth have a tongue patch. If not a hybrid though a spot is pretty easily distinguished from a largemouth.
Spotted bass look vastly different than largemouth bass and that is, as stated just a wore down tired largemouth bass
Jawlines if you want to use that method of Id are done with the mouth closed
Spotted bass are built much like smallmouth and have distinct spots on the belly in lateral rows
Spots are also rarely “faded out” in coloration
My 2 cents
Here is what a healthy Spot looks like. Out of the thousands I’ve caught I don’t think I’ve ever had one that wasn’t eating well.

Yep that ones like me. Slightly obese. :Rofl
Regular largemouth that needs to eat.
I vote skinny LMB. Alpha, that’s a chubby spot for sure! I had one like that almost steal my rod in Normandy a few years back. They just don’t give up!
