question on Wally Marshall speed shooter
been looking for a 7ft rod with some backbone and better sensitivity, i currently have the 7ft wallly marshall signature series orange rod i bought 2 yrs ago and also got the wally marshall 6ft pro series white rod, where i fish the water is very seldom like glass always a little wind and slightly choppy. with these 2 rods i can cast light lures, but it's when i am slowly retrieving i don't feel the tick bite ect, i feel the bite 100% better with the 6 1/2ft ACC crappie rod, one member here suggested the Wally Marshall 7ft Speed shooter, some say the tip eye is very small and since i tie the uni knot braid to fluoro leader, Slabprowler has this rod and loves it as far as sensitivity goes, he is going to tie a uni and let me know if the rod will cast the uni knot thru the tip eye with no issues. so i called Wally Marshall to try to find out about 2 other rods no answer, maybe someone has hands on experience with the other 2 i am trying to find out about. wally marshall has 2 other rods one is the Classic and the other is the Pro Target, i want to stay at 7ft. so the question is are these 2 new rods have any better back bone or increased sensitivity over the Speed shooter.
