An instructor at PA Institute of Taxidermy when I was there, Kent Stryker, did lifelike wood reproductions of actual fish that were better than most mounts. His prices reflected the talent it took to do such work.

My late grandfather used to spear pike thru the ice and use live suckers as decoys .
But that is one fine replica in wood no doubt about it .

It’s a bit like frog giggin if you ever done that , they typically had a large 3 prong trident looking barbed head on them , when I learned the art of spear ketchn.

I was looking at these and remembered some table decor that was on here not long ago. I was also thinking these would be expensive.
