I’ve got to get better at shooting, usually end up with hook in finger or over the boats. I’m on the dock so I stick with mostly vertical jigging

Dock jigging is awesome. I need to practice shooting also.

Absolutely. Those times when I am in a boat and can't quite shoot far enough to get to the fish. That sometimes on the dock is the best place. Here you can't fish from the docks unless you rent a slip.

This is the only public dock on the lake. $5 a day for 5 outdoor slips and a heated bay or $175 a year to get a key to fish all of them.
