I'm surprised they didn't love it and I'm on there. . I'm down here by the beach where to do all the tower welding , yours looks just as good as what I have on my ocean boat . Went to my local welder not a tower guys, yesterday to see how much three mounts would be. Almost fainted when I heard their prices.
Ended up ordering the Attwood Swivl-Eze Adjustable Pedestal 11.5” - 17.5 for 30 each delivered off e bay. . So I can raise lower and turn the 9 inch carbon I use on the front and Mr Crappie crappie rod holders on the sides. For those of us that can't weld again yours looks awesome.
So the pads were less than $10 for the pair and the rest is drop, would be sold for scrap. Some customers I had never came back because I wouldn't do "Lesser" grade work. For some reason I have never been able to just take the money and do what they want. If it's not the best I can do I passed on the job. My transom replacements were $4-5K and people were happy to pay once they saw how I did them. My T-Tops were minimum $3K for bare top and most went over $4K for the quality. The TIG I use is a Miller Dynasty, really makes welding Anodized easy if you can Bump Weld. My Buds are important to me, here the only guys who want to talk crappie just want me to show them where to fish.
We had lunch today so I took a couple more pictures with the Livescope Transducer Pole I build. The poles are made from Extruded Aluminum Handrail material. Very light but very stiff and strong. I TIG a coped piece of pipe to a round Pad then to the body to form the swivel head. A brass grease fitting and nylon tension thumb screw is added for directional tension adjustment. Depending on the RAM Mount ball size is the Pad sized to match.
