My wife and I fished brush piles all weekend using HB 2D sonar (no livescope) and we noticed that the port side caught way more fish than the starboard side. I talked to a crappie guide and he told me that he had the same experience back in the day when he fished with 2d sonar. We are both stumped on why this could occur. We enabled spotlock as we vertically fished. Any ideas?
