Default Tired freezing here in Ohio.

I would like to go south for a few days in March to fish. I would be bank fishing only unless I could find a cheap boat rental somewhere with motel close by. Would anyone have any suggestions for this 78 yr. old Crappie addict? I’ve spent the last few weeks ‘studying’ Richard Gene’s videos and I’m primed and more than ready to go!

Check around Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee. There are hotels on the water with boat rentals, bait, ice and everything you need. BUT - better book soon as they fill up quickly for early spring. Places like Blue Bank have packages that are are complete. All you need is your clothes and tackle.

Hey Jim, welcome from Central Florida. My question is what are you waiting for? Look into provisions around okechobee and head south. Fishin is real good right now.

I would head south & not stop until at least Alabama maybe look at Weiss if your plans are for march. Maybe even head on down to Florida. I am looking into booking a trip to central Florida for next winter. I am definitely with you about the freezing part. Not much different here in Indiana.
