When the catch doesn't matter
Sometimes going to the lake rewards in ways other than catching fish. Saturday my son and I went to a central Illinois lake to troll some flats. We noticed that about 50 yards from us were not less than 11 Bald Eagles just soring in the wind and occasionally speeding down to grab a fish before taking turns perching on a tree limb. I really enjoyed that. After that I really didn't care how many fish I boated. The day was already a complete win for me. I tried to record them but it seems I was technologically challenged during the attempt
