    Default Slow but Gear Straining.

The sun has been out for two days and the Lake level is at monitor stage! No fish where I had found them only six days ago. Did catch two big green carp that really put a strain on my rig. Caught some very fat crappie too,it just wasn't easy, and we had to move constantly. Attachment 452430Attachment 452432Attachment 452431Attachment 452434Attachment 452433Name: 20230316_172733.jpg

Yes, they are fighting really hard, but they are 2# on 4# line. The smaller of the two bass was 21",guessing 4.5#,and 5#,really had my doubts about the bigger one. While fighting with the bigger one I was on the trolling motor heading for open water and doing some Jaws reenactments at the same time.
