Its hard to beat a Pflueger president, if your looking for a spinning reel...

I cannot believe I’m saying this but I’m in the market of new spinning reel, I guess lol. I only have 2 reels for crappie, Sahara 750 and Tatula LT 2000, but have 2 xtra rods (I’m too lazy to switch reel between rod).
My problem is I’m not sure if I should go with high speed or low speed reel. I like Tatula but only come with high speed 30-32” IPT. All my reels even bait caster is or converted to low speed 22-25” IPT. I like Tatula and caught a lot of fish in it but every time I have to remind myself to slow down when retrieving and some how I feel less confident of my retrieving speed when compare with my baitcaster (22” IPT). On the other hand Tatula is good when bobbers fishing or reel to set hook. What speed should I get if I’m only cast and reel type fishing?
Dang it is so hard to find low speed reel in US.

If youre fishing small plastics I would try to find the lowest speed reel I could get. Mine are 4.8 and the next new one will be 4.6.

X2 on the President.

Slow speed for me.
I use a Shimano Spirex 1000 for Crappie. I like it.
Probably a trion. I have a couple of those and a couple presidents. Honestly not much difference in them. The president may be just a tad smoother.
