Finally got to fish from the boat with my favorite crappie rod. The rod is an out of production Cabelas fish eagle ii 11.5 foot noodlerod that has a true parabolic action. When fighting these crappie the butt of the handle is pointing at the fish and the rod is bent in a near perfect circle. Absolutely wore them out tonight, 48 the biggest crappie was 15" exactly. That wasn't the biggest fish though caught this 26" channel, a beautiful fish that was hard to tire for sure.
