Was bass fishing in a local pond. Some other locals had said there were crappie in the pond so I had planned on going back geared up for crappie. But while I was there throwing a texas rigged craw I felt a smack, set the hook and commenced to fight what I thought was a bass. I got it to shore and looked down and saw..... it's a huge crappie!!!! Fat belly and all!! They are definitely feeding up. Good day for sure!
