Fished a couple hrs yesterday.
Now I know for sure we had a flash spawn early March during high water. The bream have moved into the trees where the crappie spawn. Time to send down my little hand tied black jigs looking for the big red ears

I was wrong, flat wrong! Just when you think you know it all the fish will prove you know nothing. A wave of spawning fish have moved shallow and I am shocked to say the least. I had some of the best action ever yesterday. I’m headed back to my honey hole before sunrise as soon as I finish this post.Quote:

I've been fishing a 10 acre pond here at home in Sourh Carolina and last week the males still wearing their tuxedo but the females had few eggs left in them as l fillet a few.

yes I got the same report on a 50 acre spot here . lots of big males shallow and black as coal and shredded .
not a girl fish to be found and he can find them .
