Default It was some kind of cold.

"It was some kind of cold." That's what Yvonne said about the recent Writers Camp we attended at Santee Cooper South Carolina. I met Yvonne and Carl Fallo at the 2019 Outlaw Media Camp. They are photographers, and very good ones at that. They took all the pictures I posted below, except the first one. The first one I took of a very proud Yvonne. She came in after lunch and showed off the crappie she caught from the dock. They are both photographers, but they also love to fish, especially Yvonne. She went off fishing on her own and caught this fish all by herself. I have to give her a ton of credit, particularly because of the terribly cold weather we encountered during the event.

Please Santa please, can I have a boat like this some day! The electronics on that boat are very likely worth more than my whole boat and everything on it!

Pictured at left above is Charles Sablatura with his wife Vicky. They own Rockport Rattler. They make rattling Crappie jigs, “It's a Dinner Bell for the fish”. Matt Outlaw and I used them to catch plenty of crappie, they really work. I'm sure they were rattling like crazy as much as our boat was bouncing up and down in the waves. I can't wait to try them at our Crappie.com event this weekend on Lake Monroe, FL. And at right, and pictured below too, is Joe Dennis. Joe guides for Crappie and Stripers. He also is the star of Father and Son Outdoors TV on the Pursuit Channel. You can catch him on his YouTube Channel too. Give him a holler if you come this way and he'll certainly put you on some fish. They had three poles out for Stripers, and I heard they all wend down at the same time. That's what the above pic is about.

I took this from Yvonne's fb page. I think it's definitely something to live by. Carl and Yvonne are good people. It seemed like we had been friends for years. In fact they said I reminded them of another of their friends which I looked exactly like! Doh, a doppelganger, two of me, oh no!
