    Default two trolling motors

I shoot docks about 95% of time. Im in an aluminum boat and the wind is rough when trying stay in front of docks so both people can shoot. I have a terrova on front and thinking about adding one to the port rear corner of boat for the back seater to run just for positioning boat. Has anyone tried this or even think it will be advantageous? My boat is 18.5 feet with a 70 four stroke so The extra weigh isnt gonna make a noticeable change in speed.

Thought about it, but never did it. I now have a double seat setup so both anglers can sit up front & cast/shoot ... and that's cheaper than a second trolling motor + battery, and I don't have to worry about the other angler moving the boat "incorrectly" and messing it up for both of us

Thought about it also. What would be perfect is an I pilot set up to control both motors. Probably not enough interest to get a trolling motor company to produce it. Possible a Pro Nav type control that could be added to two motors

The front will be 80 # terrova and rear will be 35# terrova. some of the docks I shoot are in 60 feet of water so the anchor idea would be time consuming..

Both I pilots? Seems like they would fight one another.

Hey Dave. Cane Pole works one up for someone a while back that did what you’re after. Hit him up and I’m sure he’ll be able to give you the skinny better than I.

both are I pilots but different generations so may work ok. I hardly ever use the remote for front TM. the rear one would only be used when needed, mainly tournaments.
