Comments? I plan on using this set up for fishing in shade or light rain from the shoreline. Took about ten minutes to put it together. Drill umbrella stop holes in the PVC. Thread coat hanger wire to form an umbrella stop inside the PVC. Wind the coat hanger wire tight and trim off the excess. Attach to your fishing chair with leather boot shoelaces. Insert a large umbrella. Go fish in the shade or the rain from the bank.


(I suppose you can modify this idea for your boat also. Use a long enough PVC tube. Drill your umbrella stops and thread the coat hanger wire through. Wind the coat hanger wire tight and trim off the excess.
