I have 14' rods. I want 16 or 18 for spider rigging. Any DIY or commercial extensions

Random thought, esp for spider rigging, could a guy not add pvc section the end of rod to extend rather than buying all new rods. Also be nice to extend from say 12 to 18 depending on time of yr. Anyone do,anything like this?

You could, but that's putting your reel out that much farther. Sell the 14's and go with 16's sounds like a good in between for ya. Others should be along shortly, maybe get you some more ideas.
