Oh this whole thread is about knee surgery? I thought you had a collection of right footed socks with no matches that you were wanting to get rid of. I've got a bunch of left footed socks that I need a match to. Never mind that though wish you a speedy recovery

I had Knee pain for 15 y I gave up fishing and hunting...and Wheelchair next...SKEED ain't the word TERRIFIED is....
Never had any Surgery other than Carpel tunnel on L hand... and they only put that arm to sleep and I was awake the whole time..It was no problem...and 25y ago.....
Found a Doc that I really felt comfortable with and does only Knees and Hips for 20y +...That talked like a human not a stuffed shirt..He did surgery at Orthopedic Surgery Center. Not a Hospital full of SICK people...He said it helped reduce chance of infection and other illnesses...
Was it My Surgeon /the Surgery Center/ the Staff of Nurses and Doc/the Therapist/my attitude...That made it a Pleasurable Experience..I do not Know..But a few days after my left knee replacement ,I could not wait to have to have the right done...10 w later they did right..Same crew, same place ,same outcome...I can Fish and Hunt again and get around like I was 30y old with no PAIN and no PILLS no REGRETS and next month it will be 1y...I said if I had another Knee I would do it again in a minute..

OOOOCH.....:yikes
My surgeon ,who replaced both of my knees and did carpal tunnel surgery on both hands, is amazing. The 1st time I had his surgery, he came in prior to the surgery to talk to my wife and I. After discussing the procedure, he asked if we minded if he prayed. MINDED???? We were blown away as he got on his knees next to my bed and prayed for me, his staff, a steady hand, and healing. Later, our Pastor and Music Director were at the hospital prior to another surgery and were in the room with us when Dr. Morgan knelt next to my bed and prayed. To say they were blown away was an understatement.
Having an orthopedic surgeon pray for me before surgery did a lot to get rid of any apprehensions I might have had.
My only regret, besides missing my Dad's funeral during my back surgery, was why did I wait so long and suffer so much before I had both knees replaced and my spine fusion?
If you’re posting about it and poking fun, you must be feeling pretty good. Glad to hear it’s going good and I’m looking forward to hearing rehab stories, I have a few. Feel better and get moving soon and you’ll be doing everything you did before in no time.
