The Reelfoot Lake Eagle Festival was held this past weekend by the lakes tourism committee. We entered some images taken from the lake area in the wildlife division. "Free Falling", an adult eagle from levee area of the lake and "Penthouse Suite" a white egret from the upper basin of the lake, received ribbions. The events attendees reviewed all the entries and cast their votes. After the votes were tabulated these entries received 1st and 3rd place ribbons. Thought I'd share with my buddies here.

Also, the crappie fisherman have picked up after waterfowl season has closed. I have received several reports of nice fish being caught in the lower part of the lake. All the details I could pry out of buddies. lol. Have a blessed day to each and all.
