I voted at 8 this morning. No line. In and out in about ten minutes. If it wasn’t so windy, I would have went fishing after I voted. 25 mph winds aren’t fun to fish in. Having our best big fish bite of the year going on now.

Raining pretty good here early this morning calling for the rain to end around lunchtime. I figured many would wait until the rain was gone so I went early and it was a good crowd but no wait to speak of. Then went to Hardees and got a sausage gravy biscuit. Good morning all the way around.
Turnout this morning was really good according to those working the polls.
I died last month but a kindly Chicago soul voted for me today.
I was expecting a line at 8:15am so I took my headphones so I could pass the time. Walked in, walked out about 5 minutes later. But on the news everyone is talking about the long lines all day. I guess I was lucky and this is a small town.
Went to the MAGA rally last night in Cape Girardeau. The turnout was phenomenal. People waited in the rain for up to 6 hours just to get inside. Over 8000 people inside and a whole bunch outside. Might explain some of the voter turnout today. Our little polling place is the local church, Waaaay more people today than the 2016 general election.
Just voted ! lined out the door never saw it on this fashion since moving to this lil community great turn out !
You're dang right, I voted today. I vote every time. I had the pleasure of my 19 year old daughter accompanying me to the polls to vote in her first election. The poll workers were excited to see someone so young at the polls. I told them my daughter wasn't raised to where voting was optional. She was raised to believe that voting is expected.
The guy manning the machine where we slide the slips in, commented that there were quite a few young voters out for the POTUS election. I smiled and said, I expect you're right, but this one just voted a straight Republican ticket, and I doubt those others did. I didn't tell her who to vote for.
I went at 9:30 this morning while my daughter had a break from classes. The polling place here was covered up. Even though we live outside the city limits we have to vote at one of the two larger polling places. I was glad to see it so busy mid morning. It was the same way in the last POTUS election.
The wife and I "got'er done".:ThumbsUp
