looking for spots near Charlotte

I just moved to Charlotte and a looking for someplace nearby where I can fish the bank or kayak. Is there any small lakes around the area that are in the neighborhood of 100 to 150 acres. Any help is appreciated

I'd probably pull up Google maps and scroll around your local area and see what bodies of water are available in that size range. Google usually names the body of water and then you can look it up online to find out any restrictions or reports on it.
