I have had my remote go to sleep and the terrova wouldn't respond until I tapped a something on the foot peddle. Can be frustrating when I'm dealing with a fish or something.
Ability to beach it is also one of the reasons I got a deep v aluminum boat.

When I launch alone I use my Ulterra. Once it clears the trailer I deploy the motor, drive to a spot where it's out of the way then hit spot lock.
I do that when my brother is not with me but use the power pole (also w/remote) to hold boat.

Thanks for replies and info, never thought about hitting a button by accident which I have done in the boat.
How do you board it without grounding your Terrova?
