Ranger RT188c

I have a 2017 Ranger RT188C. Love the boat. I wanted the lower deck and the front live well. I also wanted the long flat surface along the side for laying down my long spider rig poles. Only problem is lack of storage like others mentioned. I helped my storage space by making the area in front of the console in to a storage area. I'm not sure why Ranger didn't do that instead of screwing it down. Must have been because of the drain lines are running through it (at the bottom) from the front live well.

If I had to chose another boat, I would chose the Xpress. It has a better hull and is faster but not as stable while fishing as the Ranger. I wish they would put that Xpress hull on the RTs.

The difference in the 188 and 198 beside s the length is the "p" pad ride , same as the express. It is apples and oranges between 188c and 198p.
