I leave mine in original bags and store in soft side lunch boxes. Look for them on sale at dept stores etc. Usually $4-$5, alot cheaper than tackle bags and boxes.

I also keep them in plano boxes. If you keep them out of the sun you shouldnt have any issues. I keep my bag inside unless I'm out fishing. When I was younger, before I got into crappie like I am these days, I kept them all mixed together in one bag in a mesh compartment on the outside of my tackle bag. This did ruin them, but it was from all the direct sunlight I'm sure. Just keep them covered out of the sun when not switching baits and you should be fine.

Thanks for the responses. We've got a few left over softside coolers and plenty of ziplocks. I think I can cram a lot more in there and cheaper than Plano boxes too. There are a few Plano boxes already loaded that I'll mineral oil up for now.

I use the Plano 3730 boxes. Each compartment will hold 100 tubes in their original packages. I have a few dozen boxes each following a color pattern. When I go fishing I usually take 4 boxes of the assorted colors I expect to work that day. That gives me over 600 jigs to work with which will usually get me through a days fishing.
