Im thinking of water proofing this 2x4 and bolting it to the back of my trailer, then using u bolts with pvc for my guides. The pvc will have a 24inch metal rod in it. For sime reason i think if i use the whole board instead of cutting it, i will have more support. Its not a heavy boat 14ft aluminum.
