Hey guys.... another tip about sissors.... get you some of the fiskars brand, kids safety sissors like they use in kindergarten. They work awesome on braid. Easy and clean cut. And very cheap at back to school time.. usually $1.
I use a short piece of bamboo as my "wrap and pull braid" tool.
I don't know if they were Fiskers, but I tried that, but the finger loops on them were too small for my fat digits. And the blades were not serrated so the line would just slip down the blade instead of cutting the line cleanly. I will have to look for the Fiskers brand.
Genius at work.
I bought a couple of pairs at Walmart for $1. I like the blunt end so it doesn't poke a hole where you don't won't one. Not sure what brand but they cut braid easily with a smooth blade.
Great idea with the dowel and if it went overboard it would float. Thanks for sharing.
I like the blunt tipped ones too. True the blades are not serrated, but it doesn't matter, cuts it easy.
