Drift Sock Harness with float

Wouldn't chains get hung up since your dragging them on the bottom ?

They work like clock work in Mississippi. I would use chains in the shallows during the pre-spawn and spawn stages. Once you get out into deeper waters the socks can be just as good.

I rig mine just like bandchaser does but on the big 4 we don't have a lot of stumps. Never had a problem with mine sinking much. If that doesn't work for you, take 3 pieces of noodle, put on 3 straps at front of sock. Use a wire tie to pull em down tight then wrap with tape as tight as you can pull it. That will for sure float them and if your socks don't have weights. Do same thing on the straps opposite the floats and wire tie or tie on with line some 1 oz weights to help it open easier.
