    I've got 3 hundred dollars saved up to buy me a depth finder not into anything real fancy so that's why I'm not going to spend anymore than that so what do y'all recommend in my price range

    Do you want 2d sonar alone ... or 2d sonar & Down Image ... does it need to have GPS capability ... does it have to be "new", or would you consider "used"

    Knowing this will help us point you towards the best unit for the $$.

    OR ... you could contact Brian@BBGmarine (member here) and talk to him & see what his recommendation would be in that price range.
