Default East TN is heating up!

My bride (of 34 yrs) and I had a couple of free hours this morning, and decided to hit an area near home. We only had time to fish one small area, but it was productive! We probably caught 40 in around 3 hours, all from one brush pile! We were fishing in 15 FOW, and most were holding pretty tight to the bottom. Water temp was 49, trending toward 50. They wanted it slow, still, or falling. The bite is still light, no burying the pole! Thank goodness for hi vis line! Watch for it to jump, stop, or move sideways. All were caught on jigs of varying colors tipped with a nibble. I am attaching a pic of our "Arsenal". Also, notice the big gal in the checker. Her dorsal fin had been bit or something, and healed. I noticed another one with a similar injury. I can't say what did the damage, but it is evident that our favorite panfish is a resilient critter! Kept a lucky 13 for eating!
