does anybody spider rig over brush tops? I know typically in mississippi when spider rigging most ppl are trolling with double minnow rigs....Do any of yall ever just put out 6-8 rods and let them "sit" over the brush top?

If so...would you recommend down sizing to smaller weights since Im not trolling? or do you feel that it matters...I typically have done it with BnM double minnow rigs on 3/8 or 1/2 oz weights.....i have been contemplating switching to maybe single jigs with a spit shot above to give me a little more weight or even double minnow rigs with split shot....
