drop shot rod for dock shooting

hey guys,
i tried my shimano sellus drop shot rod out to see how it worked. it's 6'8'', medium action
with a fast tip.
i was surprised how easy and accurate i was with it right off the bat. the tip really loads up nice, and really shoots it fast, and level.

anyone else ever used a drop shot rod for shooting, or how do they compare to rod typically used for dock shooting ?
