BUT it wasnt calm before the Storm

it was actually howling windy and gusty and terribly difficult to ketch crappie in . and I heard tell a storm was coming so I ran out right quick before the warning sirens told everyone to take cover .no one was hurt from what I hear but it did take a roof or 2 off . I was ahead of the tornado that hit the area about 2 hours and it was still rocking the world windy .
didn't manage many larger specimens ,but managed quite a few crappie. about 5 foot deep under a float in the good ole trinity river near down town ft worth .was just a lunch break and had to go on down the road after a quick stop to find me some food .
and for those that live east of texas I cant quite describe how tasty these are .its called an animal style single cheeseburger .
it comes from in and out burger and is 2.50 before tax
WOW are they good and cheap .....
BG in texas avocado was the bait and it was overcast .

thanks yawl .....it was fun lunch break for sure ....a big fat cheeseburger and a handful of crappie make for a smile in my book
