Mark Twain Lake

Father in law and I are heading to Mark Twain Lake for a weekend of fishing. We usually catfish the rivers of Iowa but thought we would try something new for the weekend. Anyone have any tips on catching any crappies at this lake? Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the site! Make this post here to get the Missouri guys to respond. I have never been over there, but on this side of the state the lakes are pretty high. Make sure the ramps are usable and I'm sure you'll find cats....not sure about crappies. Good Luck!
