Helmate u-joint tiller extension handle, work with electric trolling motor?

Anyone use one of these on their electric motor, want to make sure its not too heavy??

I have the new motor, hopefully picking up the bow mount bracket tomorrow. Will let you know when I get it done, should be in a week or???
