I recently purchased a few crappie books and wanted to pass along my reviews of them for all...

This first book is on fundamentals and explains in detail things like classifying crappie waters, open water structure, tracking crappies, and understanding feeding habits. It was a good and easy read and taught me a few new things I did not know about crappie basics.

This is the second book in a series of three. It is also a good and easy read and describes different locations like lakes, rivers and reservoirsand how to locate crappie in these areas. This book helped me identify ideal lake locations in my local area.

This book was published by In-Fisherman just like the two previous books. I found this book to be the most enlightening as it talks about crappie calendars and seasonal fishing tips and instruction. I like this book the best with it's indepth knowledge of selective strategies.

These last two books are by Kieth Sutton and he does a great job in detailing crappie structure, fishing basics, tips, and seasonal fishing. They talk about tackle, lure, bait, cooking and different techniques. Both are good reads and easy to understand.
